Joe is now a 3 year old and his first foals have arrived! We are so pleased with
them! Though we were surprised to see all four foals born solid black we
couldn't be happier with their conformation, gait and personalities!
When we decided to stop breeding Den offered Joe for sale. But when we got
two very serious buyer enquiries he realized that he just couldn't part with him.
He has so many hours of time invested in his training that they have a strong
bond. So Joe will be gelded and stay here at Summer Winds.

Joe is 3 and currently is 14.3hh. We believe he'll finish maturing to
15-15.1 hh. He has a wonderful fox trot and a nice flat walk as well as a
very athletic canter. He's never had a bit of pace in him.

Joe's extremely well behaved and easy to train and work with. He's bred
inhand and is easy with the mares. He's always had a sweet and curious
personality which we believe he'll pass onto his foals along with that
gorgeous curly mane and tail!
