Our first venture into birds were 7
banty roosters bought at auction for
$1.10 each. We figured if the
coyotes or other animals ate them
then we'd know that chickens
weren't for us! Well we still have 5
left and they are quite the pets! The
other 2 were casualties of roosting
over the dog pen at night !
